Happy Belated Earth Day

Earth Day was Monday, and I meant to draw something in celebration of it before then. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to come up with something until yesterday. This drawing is inspired by the term "being green". Gumby should be a pretty well known character for most of you, but if not, look him up.

An Unusual Mallard

Listening to the radio this morning, I heard the Katy Perry song "ET" on several different stations. For some reason or another, that inspired me to make this using paint: an alien rubber duck.

Black Eyed Peas

Over the last few days, I have heard the name "Black Eyed Peas" a lot; on TV, on the radio, from strangers mouths. I heard it so much, I actually started thinking about what "Black Eyed Peas" really were, and then all of a sudden, I got this idea for a comic.

Lunchbox

I broke my phone this weekend, so I had to come up with something to do during lunch today. I decided to draw my lunchbox.

And in color...

Driving in Boston

Today is Patriots Day, and around here that means the Red Sox are playing at 11am at Fenway Park, 25,000 runners are making the trek from Hopkinton to Boston, and 95/128 is the easiest commute of the year. A few people straggled into work a bit late today, citing Boston detours and such as excuses, and it reminded me of the times I try to drive through the city. It is always a pain, and it's always confusing. I drew this after such an incident last year.

Ode to New England

Coming into work this morning, the radio talk shows wouldn't stop talking about the weather. They were complaining about the rain yesterday, complaining about the temperature today, complain, complain complain. This next comic (drawn last spring), was inspired by similar events.

Red Sox Nation

In honor of the 2011 Red Sox season, and the reaction that comes with the first month of baseball in New England, I post this as my first cartoon of this blog. I created this one last year (2010), and thought it fits quite nicely in right now, too.
