Last post before I go on vacation on Saturday. I'm going down to the Cape for about a week, and I'm going to be relaxing like the person in this drawing...

Cannibals
The few people I've shown this to already, think opposite of how I intended to draw it. I wonder which side you are on?

Aminals Part 1
I recently started drawing props to put into different drawings that I do. My plan is to have a bunch of templates for these props to use. Here is my first set of animal props.

Happy Mothers Day
This Sunday is Mothers Day, and I just wanted to recognize mine on this day. She absolutely loves her family, and her "children" Jake and Kitty, who she loves spending nights cuddling up with on the couch. I drew these for her as Christmas gifts, with charcoal pencils, and nice frames. These are copies of those, and I feel everyone should see the animals that make her most happy (outside of her kids). Love you Mom.

Life Without Smart Phones
This I drew last year when all day, wherever I went, people were on their smart phones. It made me realize that we are so dependent on technology, that I wonder what would happen if one day we woke up, and the technology disappeared. It's okay if you don't understand the strip, most people didn't understand it without me explaining it. I am refusing to explain it anymore, and just chalk this one up as a miss. But enjoy the drawings?

Happy Belated Earth Day
Earth Day was Monday, and I meant to draw something in celebration of it before then. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to come up with something until yesterday. This drawing is inspired by the term "being green". Gumby should be a pretty well known character for most of you, but if not, look him up.

An Unusual Mallard
Listening to the radio this morning, I heard the Katy Perry song "ET" on several different stations. For some reason or another, that inspired me to make this using paint: an alien rubber duck.

Black Eyed Peas
Over the last few days, I have heard the name "Black Eyed Peas" a lot; on TV, on the radio, from strangers mouths. I heard it so much, I actually started thinking about what "Black Eyed Peas" really were, and then all of a sudden, I got this idea for a comic.

Lunchbox
I broke my phone this weekend, so I had to come up with something to do during lunch today. I decided to draw my lunchbox.
And in color...

Driving in Boston
Today is Patriots Day, and around here that means the Red Sox are playing at 11am at Fenway Park, 25,000 runners are making the trek from Hopkinton to Boston, and 95/128 is the easiest commute of the year. A few people straggled into work a bit late today, citing Boston detours and such as excuses, and it reminded me of the times I try to drive through the city. It is always a pain, and it's always confusing. I drew this after such an incident last year.

Ode to New England
Coming into work this morning, the radio talk shows wouldn't stop talking about the weather. They were complaining about the rain yesterday, complaining about the temperature today, complain, complain complain. This next comic (drawn last spring), was inspired by similar events.

Red Sox Nation
In honor of the 2011 Red Sox season, and the reaction that comes with the first month of baseball in New England, I post this as my first cartoon of this blog. I created this one last year (2010), and thought it fits quite nicely in right now, too.
